Walk into a re-creation of Interama—Miami’s futuristic fair of the Americas from the 1960s. Under development for decades, Interama was never built but captured the imagination of planners, architects and public officials during an era when Miami increasingly perceived itself as a hemispheric crossroads. See for the first time Interama drawings by such world-renowned figures as architectural renderer Hugh Ferriss and architects Marcel Breuer and Louis Kahn. Visitors of all ages will enjoy a multi-sensory environment filled with video projections, computer interactive and hands-on activities related to design, social change and politics in post-World War II Miami and the Americas. Guest curated by Allan Shulman and Jean-Francois Lejeune, professors of architecture at the University of Miami.

	MEMBERS ONLY TOUR Little Havana Walk and Lunch at Versailles Saturday, October 4 9 am-12 pm Join HMSF educator Pepe Menendez on a personal tour of Little Havana, including Cuban Martyrs Blvd., the Tower Theater, a local market with exotic fruits, Domino Park, and a cigar factory where cigars are still handrolled. Pepe will also tell you about his father’s experiences growing tobacco in Cuba. After the tour, you may join Pepe for a delicious Cuban lunch at Versailles Restaurant. 	The Miami Herald and Historical Museum of Southern Florida's Question of the Week The Miami Herald and the Historical Museum of Southern Florida have joined forces to create an exciting new program to increase the Miami history literacy of area students. Interested teachers can enroll their classrooms in a city-wide contest that will test their students' reading and researching skills.
